The BCSPL is pleased to announce the four EA SPORTS BCSPL Scholarship recipients

The EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League is pleased to announce the four graduating players who will each receive $1000 scholarships from the BCSPL.  The 2018 scholarships were made available by the financial support from EA SPORTS, and the league thanks our amazing title partner for their outstanding contributions to BCSPL athletes over the last seven years.

2018 Scholarship Recipients:

· Ainsley Grether from Thompson Okanagan FC – will be attending Thompson Rivers University

· Alanah Dulong from Mountain United FC – will be attending Capilano University

· Daniel Zadravec from Vancouver Island Wave – will be attending the University of Northern BC

· Willem Booth from Mountain United FC – will be attending Western University

Since its inception in 2013, and including these 2018 awards, the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League Scholarship program has now awarded $36,000 to graduating BCSPL players.  The four chosen recipients all exhibited an outstanding combination of academic standards, character, and a track record of giving back to the game in their communities.

All of the recipients will also be pursuing their post-secondary education in Canada, which was a requirement of the scholarship.  A formal presentation will take place July 1 at the Whitecaps FC game versus Colorado, and a special note of thanks to our development partner for providing these tickets to our recipients and their guest.
