132 players graduate from the BCSPL to university soccer programs

July 23, 2018 - Vancouver, BC

The EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League is pleased to announce the 132 players from its U18 boys and girls divisions that have committed and are on their way to university soccer programs for the 2018 fall season.
These commitments include schools in USPORTS, the NCAA, CCAA, NAIA, and the NWAC.

The BCSPL has placed a large emphasis on the university pathway.  In 2017, 124 players graduated onto university soccer programs, and in May 2018, the league hosted its 3rd annual ‘College ID Weekend’ with U16-U17 teams playing doubleheaders in Kamloops for university coaches to scout BCSPL players with ease in one centralized location.  With attendance by university coaches reaching 27 in 2018, this event looks to be a key league event to showcase players to the next level of play.

Once again, the Canada West conference of USPORTS is the destination for the majority of BCSPL graduating players.  76 student athletes will be suiting up for Canada West programs in the fall of 2018.
